2007 sees the evolution of our rear suspension frame design. Through racer feedback and testing we have carefully refined our championship winning frame.

Already known to be lightweight and durable, this optimally positioned single-pivot rear suspension design also offers reliability and functionality unrivalled on the trails.
 
Working closely with Kinesis engineers and utilizing both their machine testing and computer simulation software we tweaked the original design in just about every area.

Some of the key changes on the new frame include:

  • Butted Main Triangle for reduced weight
  • Straight downtube with hydroformed gusset
  • Revised 31.8mm seatpost diameter with oversize 34.9mm seattube ? again butted for reduced weight
  • Machined top shock mount for increased strength but reduced weight
  • Re-designed pivot construction with improved tolerance control and alignment for assembly

Our flagship models also benefit from the completely new FOX TUNED rear shocks that have been custom valved and tuned for Raleigh. The new valving offers a lighter action throughout the stroke and results in improved performance and damping.
