JUST RETURNED FROM THE ABSA CAPE EPICWritten By Dave Wyatt | Date 2009-03-26It has been a awesome 5 days in the Cape providing neutral support for all riders under the SCOTT and MAXXIS brands.It has been very hot and extremely dusty so very little brake pad issues,but lots of puntures and conversions to tubeless.We were a team of 9 and it has been a great team building exercise as well as some hard work.Our own TEAM MAXXIS made up of Richard Chesterton and Kevin Taljaardt are going very well despite Richard having a pretty nasty fall on stage 3 and looking great for a good position come the end of stage 7.To all those riders still in there good luck and keep those pedals turning.
