THE COOTS RECORD A BLISTERING TIME - NOW WITH PICS.
Written By Brandon Els | Date 2007-08-19

The Coots took on the 230k Transbaviaans this weekend and it must be remembered that the Coots are not really the racing types - they tend to focus more on what is available to be eaten at each checkpoint and the Nando's at 23h40 available after the event.

This is a short interim report and pics will follow this week. BUT - the Coots recorded a blistering pace for their abilities of 13h35 :)

Pics have now been posted.

Cheers. Brandon.

Well done Team Coots! Brandon, to wear white shorts at a mountain bike race, you have to either finish 20 minutes ahead and win the race in dominant fashion, or finish stone last, having talked your way through each cut-off point to convince them to let you to continue. 13h35m in a great time, but it's also a black shorts time...
